Liverpool Historian, Qualified Tour Guide & Multimedia Journalist
Specialising In The Liverpool City Region
I am a Liverpool Historian as seen on BBC News, BBC Sounds, the Liverpool ECHO, and on live broadcasts on BBC Radio Merseyside, in addition to my work as the Founder & Editor of The Liverpudlian. I am deeply passionate about recording Liverpudlian History & Culture across the Liverpool City Region's Six Boroughs.
My work spans written articles, live broadcasts on BBC Radio, prerecorded on BBC Sounds, photography, videos, narrated works and podcasts, as well as original illustrations.
This diverse array of mediamedia tools that I use is just as diverse as the cultural happenings that I cover — from architecture and history, to theatre, music, and food & drink.
If it has a connection to the Liverpool City Region, I am always delighted to know more and help record a great little nugget of history.

Experience & Testimonials
I have a background in Multimedia & Tourism either employed by or working on various projects for the likes of companies, including: Royal Liver Building Tours, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Radio City Tower, and Tranmere Rovers Football Club to name a few. My roles ranged from Marketing and Graphic Design Assistant to Website Designer, Content Creator and Social Media Manager, as well as having worked as a Tour Guide for multiple Liverpool venues.
I now run The Liverpudlian as a Qualified Tour Guide & Historian, operating regular tours, running Creative Workshops, and selling my original artwork at Arts Markets.
Guest from London
We ( family from London) were privileged to learn from Peter and also enjoy the city with him during our tour of the Southern docks and street art in Liverpool. Peter is super knowledgable and knew an immense amount about the local history, urban regeneration, and art. He brought many hidden pieces of street art to our sight! It was fabulous!
Peter is also an artist himself and has a deep understanding of his city and community. Thank you Peter for your welcoming kindness and sincerity today. We wish you the very best! Devyani and family ( including a happy tired doggo Jazz)
Guest from Vienna
We really enjoyed the tour with Peter. He explained a lot and had always an answer to our questions. I can highly recommend his tour.
Thx Peter

Individual planning, very well received, English so that we came along well!
Details and itineraries also outside the usual tourist routes. We are thrilled and will be back, with Peter for the next intensive visit to the museums and suburbs!
